Two roads
Jimbaran sits between Kuta and the Bukit, and its retail follows the two roads that carry traffic through it rather than gathering anywhere.
Jalan Raya Uluwatu
Length: The through road
Carries everything between Kuta and the Bukit, and both of the district's small centres sit on or just off it. Fast, wide and built for cars.
Not walkable, drive it
Sidewalk Jimbaran, cafes, everyday shops
Jalan Bukit Permai
Length: Quieter
Runs up towards the villas and the resorts. Scattered independents rather than a shopping street, and long stretches with nothing on them at all.

There is no walkable shopping stretch in Jimbaran. Every other district in this guide has at least one; this one has two roads you drive between, and pretending otherwise would waste your afternoon.
What is actually here
Two small centres, both food-led, neither of them a shopping destination. That is the complete list, and a short list honestly given beats a long one made up.
- Samasta Lifestyle Village Opened 2016 at the Jimbaran end. Food-led, with a market, cafes and a handful of retail units. No page here yet.
- Sidewalk Jimbaran Jalan Raya Uluwatu, opened 2019. A cinema and cafes with some retail attached. No page here yet.
- Resort boutiques Inside the hotels along the bay. Small, expensive, and open only to guests in practice.
Nusa Dua is 15 minutes south with Bali Collection, and Kuta is 20 minutes north with eight venues. If shopping is the reason you are travelling, Jimbaran is the stop rather than the destination.
When to be here
Jimbaran runs on its beach and its seafood, and the retail day is shaped around both rather than the other way round.

Jimbaran's morning trade is seafood, not shopping. It is the genuine reason to be up early here and nothing on this page competes with it.

Samasta and Sidewalk both come to life mid-morning, though both are quieter than anything of their size elsewhere in the south.

Go north or south
If the two centres have not answered it, this is the hour to drive. Nusa Dua is 15 minutes, Kuta 20.

Dinner on the sand
The grilled seafood on the bay is what the district is known for, and it is when Jimbaran is genuinely worth being in.

Everything closes
The retail units shut with the restaurants. There is no late shopping here of any kind.
From Seminyak it is 20 to 30 minutes and a taxi runs Ask For Price. A driver for the day is Ask For Price, and a scooter Ask For Price.

Is there a bus?
Not a useful one. The Kura-Kura service is a fixed-route shuttle rather than a public bus network, and it does not serve this district well. A car or a scooter is the practical answer.
