What it actually is
Founded in 2007 by a Balinese entrepreneur known as Ajik Cok, and now the default last stop before the airport for a large share of visitors.
Fixed prices, and that is the point
Everything is marked. No bargaining, no wondering afterwards what it should have cost, and no different price for a foreign face. That is the whole business model.
The flagship never closes
Krisna on the Bypass Ngurah Rai trades around the clock, which is why it works for a two in the morning departure as well as an afternoon.
Built for volume
This is where people buy thirty identical gifts for colleagues. Aisles, trolleys, coach parking and a checkout, rather than a stall and a conversation.
The trade against a market
Ubud Art Market will beat these prices if you bargain well and go early. Krisna beats it on certainty, air conditioning, hours and how long it takes.

Use these as your benchmark. If a stall elsewhere opens at three times the Krisna price, that is the size of the bargaining gap you are being asked to close.
Who it is right for
It does one job better than anywhere else in Bali, and refuses to pretend it does the other one.
Go if you want

- Not to bargain Everything is marked. If haggling makes you uncomfortable, this solves it completely.
- An odd hour The flagship trades all night, which covers early flights and late arrivals both.
- A price benchmark Even if you buy elsewhere, an hour here tells you what things should cost.
Go elsewhere if you want
- One-off pieces This is workshop production at volume. For a single made object, Ubud studios and Celuk silversmiths.
- The lowest price A hard bargainer at Ubud Art Market early in the day will beat these numbers.
- Brands None here at all. Every mall in this guide is a better answer for that.
- Atmosphere It is a large, bright, busy shop. The market experience is a different thing entirely.

No, and that is deliberate. Every price is marked and fixed. It is the main reason people come here instead of a market, and the main reason a market can undercut it.
Which branch should I use?
The flagship on the Bypass Ngurah Rai in Kuta, unless you are staying near Sunset Road. It has the largest range, the most parking, and it trades around the clock.
How many outlets are there?
The chain says seven. Four are publicly named: Kuta, Sunset Road, Denpasar and Singaraja. We list those four rather than guess at the rest.
Is it cheaper than the markets?
Not usually, if you bargain well. It is cheaper than a hotel gift shop and far faster than a market, and the price is the same whoever is asking.
Can I pay by card?
Yes. Cash in rupiah, Visa and Mastercard, and digital payments are all accepted. Carry some cash anyway for parking and small purchases elsewhere.
Will they ship it home?
